Yoga for all ages and abilities

These yoga classes are suitable for all ages from beginners through to intermediate ability. All classes start with warm up stretches and breathing exercises. The class will then continue with more postures to increase strength, improve flexibility, both of which will help to bring you into the present moment, and to prepare you for deep relaxation at the end of each session. Classes are drop-in, and you can just turn up. If you feel you need more information, contact me. Class times are shown on my yoga website:

Mindfulness practice

Simple breathing exercises combined with yoga postures, help to bring you into the present moment. The way we breathe reflects our mood. Learning to focus the breath,slow it down, is a way of calming the self. We can use it to 'ground ourselves'. It is a start point with learning to control the chattering mind, which interferes with concentration.
